Below are the Direct Pay rates for each program. Step Up for Students scholarship students follow a slightly different arrangement — see our scholarship page for details.
Students are responsible for purchasing their own books and materials.
Piano
- $35 — 30-minute lesson
- $45 — 40-minute lesson
- $55 — 60-minute lesson
- $25 — 30-minute lesson, per student, for families with more than one student enrolled
Rates are per student. Longer lessons are typically a better fit for teens and adults. Piano payments are due at the beginning of each month.
Painting
- $400 — per semester (15-week session)
Palabra
- $400 — per semester (15-week session)
Painting and Palabra are group classes, and payment is due at the beginning of each semester.
Semester Calendar
Semesters run August through December and February through May. We typically follow the Polk County School Calendar for Spring Break and the Thanksgiving holiday. Other holidays are not observed. Get in touch for details about class availability and meeting times.
Attendance, Credits & Refunds
Please keep your student home if they are running a fever, vomiting, or coughing excessively.
- Piano — credits for missed lessons are limited to one per semester.
- Painting & Palabra — as group classes, there are no credits or refunds for missed lessons.
